Cereal Bars: Your Easy, Customizable Snack Solution!

These easy no-bake cereal bars combine crunchy cereal, creamy nut butter, and a touch of sweetness for a quick, delicious snack.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cereal of choice
  • 2/3 cup peanut butter or nut butter of choice
  • 1/2 cup agave, honey, or brown rice syrup
  • 1/2 tsp salt (optional)
  • 3 tbsp protein powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8-inch pan with wax or parchment paper. For a larger batch, double the recipe and use a 9×13-inch pan.
  2. If needed, gently warm the nut butter so it stirs easily.
  3. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together until fully combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan.
  5. Place a second sheet of parchment on top and press the mixture down very firmly to pack it in.
  6. Freeze for about 30 minutes or until firm enough to slice into bars.
  7. Cover any leftovers and store in the fridge, freezer, or at room temperature in a cool, dry place.

Notes

  • Pressing the mixture firmly prevents the bars from falling apart after slicing.
  • You can customize them by using different cereals or nut butters.
  • Add protein powder to boost nutrition.
