Ingredients
Scale
1 package refrigerated cookie dough (about 16 oz)
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Caramel sauce, for drizzling
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy. Do not overmix.
Lightly grease a baking dish or round pizza pan.
Press the refrigerated cookie dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared dish.
Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cookie dough layer and spread evenly.
Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of the cream cheese layer.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the cheesecake is set and the edges are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 10–15 minutes.
Drizzle with caramel sauce before slicing and serving. Enjoy warm.
Notes
For an extra gooey texture, underbake slightly and serve warm.
You can use flavored cookie dough (like peanut butter or double chocolate) for a fun twist.
Top with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for added decadence.
Letting the dessert cool slightly helps the cheesecake layer set properly before serving.
Use parchment paper for easier removal and cleaner slicing.
